  • ERI Engenharia S.A. was born in 1995 attended by five companies in the area of electricity infrastructure, with the strategic goal of creating a national reference company for the supply of services in the natural gas sector, which at the time was being introduced in Portugal.
  • Immediately following its creation, ERI began partaking in the field of infrastructure registration associated with GIS (Geographic Information Systems), using technology and innovative methodologies which largely contributed to making it a leader in such activities in Portugal.
  •  In 1998 began the company’s internationalization process with the creation of ERI – Brazil – located in the city of São Paulo, and in 1999 ERI acquired Electrotécnica Aurora S.A, headquartered in Guarulhos – Sao Paulo, thus establishing business in the construction industry and the maintenance of electrical infrastructures for large electrical distributors in Brazil. The project was developed up until the year 2009, the year which it was sold to a Brazilian group.
  •  The constant growth and development of the company and its will to improve the quality of service provided to its customers, led ERI to implement the certification of the Quality Management System by NP EN 9002: 1995, and in 2006 the adaptation for 9001: 2000 by the Portuguese Certification Association (APCER) in 2000.
  • In 2006, wanting to extend the offer of its services, ERI decided to develop its business areas in the fields of Construction and Urban Rehabilitation and Renewable Energy.
  • Aiming to establish a more sustainable management, in 2007 ERI implemented the Environmental Certification System by NP EN ISO 14001: 2004 and the Certification for Safety and Health Management Systems at Work by Standard OHSAS 18001: 2007.
  • In December 2010 we initiated contacts with the intent of developing more ERI activity in Spain.
  • Keeping with our market diversification strategy, in 2012 we gave way to our  presence in Qatar, in the Telecommunications field, where we partnered with HUAWEI.
  • In 2013 we began the extension of our business through Painhas SA into the Angolan market in the registration area associated with electrical infrastructure.
  • With the goal of entering the Mozambican market, in 2014 we began its exploration.
  • With an increasingly demanding market, the company is proud of its entire business strategy making diversification, product quality and after sales service a constant concern.

  • Provide ERI with an organization that guarantees services which will ensure customer, shareholders, employees, suppliers and community satisfaction while minimizing the risks to its workers health and safety as well as preventing pollution caused by its activity;
